1. Executive Summary & Children’s Privacy Commitment

PEBCAK Consulting LLC is deeply committed to protecting the privacy of children and families. Farm Friends: Overworld Rescue is designed under strict compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR-K), and Apple App Store Review Guidelines 1.3 and 5.1.4 (Kids Category).

Zero Personal Data Collection: We do not collect, request, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) from children or adults.
No Account Creation: Players do not need an account, username, password, email address, or phone number to play the game.
Zero Third-Party Tracking / Zero Behavioral Profiling: We do not track children across third-party websites or apps. The Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) is completely disabled.
Local-First Sandboxed Persistence: All game progress, rescued animal companions, unlocked stickers, and bank coins are saved strictly on the local device.

2. Information We Process and Store

A. Local Game Progression (On-Device Only)

Data Stored: Rescued animal inventory, daily quest progress, sticker book completion, character appearance customization choices, high scores, and audio preferences.
Storage Location: Sandboxed within the operating system’s local application data folder.
Cloud Backup: Included exclusively in your device’s native Apple iCloud Backup or Google Device Backup. PEBCAK Consulting LLC does not operate external servers or hold copies of your game saves.

B. Family-Safe Advertising (COPPA Compliant)

Partner: Google AdMob (Families Program).
COPPA Child-Directed Configuration: All ad requests are flagged with tagForChildDirectedTreatment=true and underAgeOfConsent=true with a maximum content rating of G (General Audience).
Non-Personalized Ads Only: Advertisements are strictly contextual and family-safe. Behavioral targeting, remarketing, and interest-based profiling are prohibited.
Parental Control Ad Toggle: Inside the gated Parent Zone, parents have the option to completely turn OFF optional rewarded ads. When toggled off, no ad requests are made.

C. In-App Purchases (Protected by Parental Gate)

Platform Billing: Processed directly by Apple App Store (StoreKit) or Google Play Billing.
Parental Gate Requirement: In compliance with Apple Guideline 1.3, every purchase attempt is shielded behind an adult math verification challenge to prevent accidental child purchases.
Purchase Data: PEBCAK Consulting LLC never receives or stores payment credentials, credit card numbers, or billing addresses.

3. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information through a support email inquiry, please contact us immediately at ryan@pebcakconsulting.com, and we will promptly delete such correspondence.

4. Third-Party Services & Links

Farm Friends: Overworld Rescue contains zero external links accessible to children. All support and policy links are located exclusively within the Parent Zone behind our adult math challenge.

5. Your Rights & Data Deletion

Because all game data is stored exclusively on your local device, you maintain complete ownership and control:

Erase All Data: You can reset or erase your game progress anytime by deleting the application from your device or using the in-game reset option located in the Parent Zone.
